Man crashes into Pine Bluff residential home on 13th and Persimmon in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Clearly, in pain, the man, who is now unidentified, did not want to call the Police. A neighbor, who was lying down next door, did not take it so lightly. He even threatens to get his gun, if the driver tried to run. The neighbor stated that he has been a cop for 31 years. Soon firetrucks were on the scene and the police were not far behind. Here is the exclusive video from www.littlerocknews.org

The next Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for 11 p.m. Friday, and the next Powerball drawing is scheduled for the same time Saturday.

There was no lucky jackpot winner that could match all six numbers, including the Mega Ball, in Tuesday night’s drawing. According to USA Today, “There were some lucky lesser winners: One person in Florida won a $2 million Match 5 Winners Power Play and five people — in California, Florida, North Carolina, New York and Oregon — won $1 million each as Match 5 winners. According to Powerball’s website, there were more than 3 million players who won more than $30 million in smaller prizes Wednesday.”

If you feel lucky, there is no better time to get you a ticket for Friday night’s Powerball drawing and if you miss it then you can also play the same time Saturday.

imagesThe UN Peacekeepers will be sent to quell violence in Chicago. This is the claim that many are making. There have been many sightings of UN vehicles in the United States over the past years. The claims that UN Peacekeepers will come in and take over the United States have been promoted by sites like  Anti-MediaIlluminatiExposed.net, InfoWars.com, and Anonymous-Feed.com. What sparked this conversation to resurface was the announcement of a Facebook post by Cook County Commissioner Richard Boykin.

boykin un post

Boykin also spoke with the Chicago Tribune and stated the following when questioned about welcoming in foreign troops from the United Nations

“I’m talking about whoever the U.N. would decide to send in,”

and also stated

if the soldiers were instead wearing the sky blue helmets of United Nations peacekeepers there might not be such a problem

Although we have verified the above quotes, when fact checked using snopes.com they returned a rating of this being a false report. It may be false that any plans have been made for UN troops to go into Chicago, but it is true that the Commissioner does not mind having them present. What are your thoughts, should the UN be allowed or petitioned to help with the crisis in Chicago?

Retired Colonel Nathaniel “Nate” Todd will be the guest speaker during the Veteran’s Day Celebration scheduled for noon Thursday, November 9, at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. The University began a formal ceremony in 2016 to honor local veterans. UAPB was designated a 2017 Military Friendly Gold status campus and is only one of three schools in the state with that distinction.

Veteran’s Day activities will be held in the STEM building on the first floor and vendors in the lobby with booths for veteran’s benefits. An indoor picnic will follow the formal ceremony.

The speaker, Colonel Todd, is a Pine Bluff native. Prior to his retirement in October 2016, he served as Director of the Health Financial Policy Office of the United States Army’s Surgeon General in Falls Church, Virginia. Colonel Todd was recently appointed the director of the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs by Governor Asa Hutchinson.
